FileZilla is the name for a feature-rich, fast and reliable FTP client, and there's also a FileZilla Server, which is an FTP server from the same developer group. The client supports download resume, download queue, connection keep-alive, timeout settings, favorite list, proxies, SSL and GSS security. HTTrack is a free (GPL, libre/open source) and easy-to-use offline browser utility. It allows you to download a World Wide Web site from the Internet to a local directory, building recursively all directories, getting HTML, images, and other files from the server to your computer. HTTrack arranges the original site's relative link-structure. Simply open a page of the "mirrored" website in your browser, and you can browse the site from link to link, as if you were viewing it online. HTTrack can also update an existing mirrored site, and resume interrupted downloads. HTTrack is fully configurable, and has an integrated help system.

Miranda IM is a multi protocol (ICQ, AIM, MSN, Jabber, Yahoo, Gadu-Gadu, Tlen, Netsend, and more) instant messenger client for Windows. Miranda IM uses very little memory and is extremely fast. SpamPal sits between your email program (eg. Outlook or Eudora) and your mailbox (POP3 or IMAP), checking your email as you retrieve it.
